FRONT STREET GARBAGE PICKUP – Due to the weather and the
deteriorating condition of the back lanes, front street pickup will resume
immediately. The same pickup procedure as used during the winter months will be
in effect until further notice. Thank you for your co-operation.
2.
Pet owners are reminded to clean up after your pets,
especially when out walking them. We have had complaints in regards to pets
relieving themselves on other people’s property.

PROPERTY OWNERS, USING A SUMP PUMP IN THEIR HOME, ARE ASKED TO RUN THE HOSE TO
THE FRONT STREET TO UTILIZE THE STORM SEWERS, OUR LIFT STATIONS FOR THE SANITARY
SEWER SYSTEM HAVE REACHED A MAXIMUM

The next regular meeting of Council has been changed to Monday June 7,
2010. Any items for the meeting must be to the Town Office by noon - Friday June
4th.
2.
The Landfill is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – 9:00
AM to 5:00 PM. There in no charge for the disposal of tree branches, grass
trimmings, leaves and other compostable materials.
3.
Back Lane garbage pick up resumed Tuesday May 4th
if your garbage is left at the front you will be responsible for getting it
moved to the back lane or taking it to the landfill for disposal.
4. Construction,
renovations, demolitions, additions or moving buildings all require a permit.
Please make application at the Town Office in advance, as approval by Town
Council is required before proceeding with these projects.
5.
It is requested that vehicles not be parked in
front of the ambulance bay driveway.
