1.                  Property owners who have trees along the back lanes are requested to trim back the trees to allow the garbage truck to get down the lane.

2.                  All requests for council meetings must be received at the Town Office by noon on the Friday prior to the meeting date. This includes applications for building permits.

3.                  Please refrain from putting cardboard in the blue boxes. Cardboard can be left at the Quonset – west of the Tourist Information Booth on Highway 16 for recycling.

4.                  Landfill hours are: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compost materials such as leaves and grass clippings may be taken to the landfill free of charge during regular hours. Please make sure that no plastic bags or cardboard are left in the compost pile.

5.                  Please refrain from shooting grass clippings onto the streets and sidewalks as this clogs the storm sewers and may cause flooding.

6.                  In keeping with our motto the “Best Place in the World to Live” we ask that everyone continue to keep our town appearance welcoming, if you drop something, please pick it up.
