Foam Lake - An "In
Motion" Zone
- Recreation Centre: 435 Broadway St. Ph:272-3221
- Arena: An 185 by 85 artificial ice surface available
for the figure skating program, minor hockey program, recreation hockey,
Flyer hockey and public skating. 800 people seating capacity.
- Curling Rink: Four sheets of artificial ice with a
seating area and lounge.
- Foam Lake Golf & County Club: 19 Km North of Foam Lake on
Highway 310. Ph: 272-3801
- Beautiful 9 hole grass green course with a restaurant, lounge, and
proshop. Cart rental is available.
- Central
Park Swimming Pool: 221 Cameron St. Ph: 272-4280
- An 25m by 12.2m outdoor heated pool. Paddlers pool on site. Open June
1 to August 31. Red Cross swimming lessons and Life Saving courses
available in June & July as well as daily public swimming.
- Foam Lake Fitness Centre: 321 Chant St. Ph: 272-4811
- Located upstairs at the community hall. A good selection of cardiac
and muscular workout equipment. Open 5 days a week.
- Golf Driving Range: Located at the Visitor Information Centre

- The driving range is operated by the Town of Foam Lake Tourism Staff
and is open from May 14th to September 30. Hours of operation are 8am to
7pm daily.
- Foam Lake Bowling Centre: 239 Main St. Ph: 272-4445
- 6 lanes of 5 pin bowling. Glow bowling available for groups.
- Star Billiards: 332 Main St. Ph: 272-4132
- Pool hall that is open year round.
- Foam Lake Museum: 113 Bray Ave. W. Ph: 272-4292
- Contains a variety of artifacts that represent the history of Foam
Lake and area. Located in the old town office.

- Douglas Heritage House:
Located behind the Visitor Information Centre on Hwy 16
- A 1915 home furnished with some artifacts dating back to the 17th
century.
- Tours are available from Visitor Information staff or Museum members.
- Fresh bread which is served three times in the summer is baked in a
clay oven located beside the house.

- Parks & Play Program
- During the months of July & August, the Leisure services staff
offer a summer play program called Fun in the Sun, for children ages 5
to 12. Activities include games, arts & crafts, tours and movies.
- Central park, Northside Leisure park, Rec Centre Ball Fields, and Foam
Lake Campground provide are areas for people to relax and enjoy the
outdoors. Playground equipment, sandboxes, a swimming pool, and a
camping area with electricity, barbeques and a picnic area are all
available in Foam Lake.

- Hunting & Fishing
- Foam Lake and surrounding area sports man's and woman's paradise.
There are excellent fishing opportunities for Northern Pike and Walleye
in Fishing Lake and the White Sand lakes during both the summer and
winter months.
- An abundance of geese, ducks, whitetail and muletail populations
provide the hunters with a worthwhile adventure.
- Skiing & Snowmobiling
- During the winter season, trails are groomed for skiers and
snowmobilers. The skiing trails are located along Milligan creek and
through the Foam Lake campground.
- The Fishing Lake Snowmobile Club maintains 150 miles of groomed
snowmobile trails as part of the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association
Network of trails. Foam Lake links to the northern forest trails and
provides complimentary warm-up shelters along the way.
